Maybe THEY’re the ones involved in stashing thousands of guns in Ms. Getty’s house!

Well, for this guy’s sake, I’d like to find out he’s just
a licensed federal firearms dealer with a nice collection
who messed up some paperwork.
I’ve not seen claims that he’s just someone with a
hobby/investment, or someone with issues holding a
stash for whatever side he’s on.
From what we know so far, he’s a licensed broker or seller
that messed up a complicated business in a hostile
environment.
And if that’s all he is we need to keep a close eye
on what California does to him, and his guns.
A legit active dealer in CA will have many guns undergoing
wait periods, or on consignment from others, like estate
sales, who need someone like this.
Watch out for back door gun control entrapment of
FFA licensed dealers, especially in California!

“There is nothing in itself wrong with having a thousand
guns. It all depends on whether they comply with California
and federal laws, he cautioned, noting that even with a
federal firearms license to sell weapons, the legal aspects
of doing so are very complex.”
Sometimes, he said, dealers can overlook the correct
paperwork and run afoul of the law, noting that sensational
search warrants with piles of guns often end up without
charges.
