I had to go back and check to make sure it is the Supreme Court Chief Justice who appoints these FISA judges.

It is with no confirmation or oversight by congress. A Chief Justice can appoint a FISA court with like-minds and no diversity. Which brings me to this interesting tidbit from the wiki link:
Since May 2014, however, four of the five judges appointed by Chief Justice Roberts to the FISA Court were appointed to their prior federal court positions by Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
Weird Justice Roberts would pick Clintoon and 0bozo federal judges to be on the FISA court. Make me wonder if there is some pain coming Justice Roberts way for either being a derp or severely compromised, just like with his ruling on 0bozocare.
Now Senator Graham is going to ask Chief Justice Roberts to investigate the FISA court misconduct here:

Regardless if SCJ Roberts is compromised or a swamp creature, this could put him in quite a conundrum when he is asked to investigate these courts he is in charge of. At the very least he may have to recuse himself or worst, if he is neck-deep in derpness, resign.

I figured out how we got Roberts. First W proposed Harriet Miers, a candidate so weak the whole party was outraged. Finally he pulled her and Roberts seemed fine by comparison. But maybe he was the intended nom all along.
