It’s one thing to remove Gaddafi, and yet another thing to allow chaos to reign in the aftermath, which is obviously what The Won wanted.
Don’t forget Gaddafi himself (an Arab national socialist) overthrew his predecessor, King Idris, who was more friendly to the US and UK and helped with both military bases and the country’s oil industry.
