Pouring down rain! For the desert, it’s “almost” a religious experience. I opened up the garage door, the front door, and the back door... great cross ventilation. The smells of creosote were overpowering before the heavy rain started. Harkens back to my misspent youth here, Circa 1972.

A life well lived... excellent menu FRiend! I cannot top the Orient Express- but I did get an AMTRAK rail pass once upon a time, good for 45 days and 18 destinations.
I was a cheapskate and did not get a room. Next time- I’m dropping some major change and going, first class!

We’re home after picking up our friends and stopping for dinner.
Yes, they came home to snow from 80 degrees or so at Galveston.
We’ve got about 3” and are wondering if this is the last snow of the winter.
