It is a deflection from the FBI/DOJ crime, which was to manufacture the narrative and the evidence that created the investigation in the first place, in early 2016 or earlier. The investigation’s creation was criminal, the steps taken in the transition and early administration were not the issue except for the frame job that came before. Don’t get sucked into the discussion about spying on the White House. Focus on the predicate, as Barr said.
