Sincerely sorry if I offended you Mairdie...I’m not a bigot but am a conservative Christian. I seek out and love to find and know good people, Christian or otherwise. I believe you are one the kind, thoughtful good people.
Thanks, christian. Someone told me, over fifty years ago, that we’re influenced by the people with whom we come in contact. It’s why our parents cared about the people with whom we hung out. Since it’s important to me to try to be a good person, I try to stay near the people who will help me be better, regardless of whether we share core beliefs or not. There’s so many on FR, and more particularly on the Q thread, that I so deeply respect and care about and I look to them to help me with that quest. And I hope that I can help them, when I can. (I’m always open to doing newspaper archive searches for people’s genealogy.) I’m joyful that people are passionate about their beliefs. I am, and I love that you are, too. I absolutely can love the fact that you’re a conservative Christian. I’m a conservative, and we have common ground there.
