Absolutely! But that article looked to have an interesting piece of gossip that I hadn’t seen anywhere else. My liberal friends tell me I should read more broadly, but I admit that I am more comfortable reading articles with which I agree.
My position is that a heavily biased source will either outright lie and make stuff up from whole cloth, or twist, cherry pick, use innuendo to make even “facts” appear very different.
I figure life is short, attention span isn’t infinite, and every rising and setting of the sun means one less day on the planet. So, I don’t read sources that are not trustworthy. Nothing to do with agree/disagree alough the more trustworthy a source is, the more likely I am to agree.
Sounds as though your liberal friends want you to be influenced by their propaganda. Because liberalism is propaganda. The truth about the leftist ideology is not very pretty so it has to be gussied up with fakery and lies.
I wonder if they follow their own advice.
Maybe suggest articles to each other and discuss them.
