I used Lyft and with Lyft one always puts I the destination address before a driver is assigned.

With uber you also enter the address before a driver accepts. (presumably - i no longer use it since that incident). With uber the driver doesn’t see that address until pickup though. Do lyft drivers get to see the destination before they accept?

Iirc uber’s justification for that policy was to prevent high ride refusal to ‘undesirable’ neighborhoods.
