George Clooney is adapting Joseph Heller's satirical 1961 novel Catch-22 for a six-part TV show, in which he is giving greater prominence to female roles. According to The Times, the 20th century tale has been criticised for it 'terrible misogyny' and its arguably demeaning depiction of women - the very few female characters are 'objectified and sexualised'. The 57-year-old will produce, star and direct the show and he and co-star Christopher Abbott, 33, grace the cover of Variety to promote the new project.

He would also (probably) change the war to US vs some Africans so he could allow ‘White Supremacists’ to bribe the AF into bombing the African Villages
Maybe he can bring back Robert Byrd D-WV to play the role of the leading Klansman
Kind of like that movie where Cage was the guard for one of the Navajo Talkers and ALL got their panties in a wad when they figured out that the MAIN job for Cage was to ‘shoot the Indian’ rather than let him be captured.
Of course the snowflakes have/had absolutely no idea what the Japs would do to ANYONE they thought may have had some ‘intelligence’, along with their feeling that to surrender put one lower than ‘whale-$hiite’ in the pecking order of survivors.
In their ‘code’, anyone who threw down their arms and surrendered wasn’t worthy of living nor worth the trouble to feed.

Of course, film makers have always taken liberty with actual settings in movies. For example, the Deer Hunter was set in a western PA steel town. They drove up into the mountains to go hunting. However, they filmed the mountain scenes in the Canadian Rockies. They look a lot pettier than Alleghany Mountains

Clooney is a very old looking 57 year old.
He has not aged well. He needs to be airbrushed in his photos and films.
Modern “entertainment” desperately needs another preachy, condescending piece of garbage. I’ll be sure to check this one out.
Catch-22 is one of my all-time favorites.
You couldn’t pay me to watch what this putz does to bastardize Heller’s masterpiece.
