Whatever you believe about Mueller, in the end he ran an honest investigation when it came to Trump/Russian collusion. Directed or forced to run an honest investigation, he found no collusion & at worst lamely kicked the obstruction evidence upstairs for a decision.
Remember a TON of disinformation was put out there.
Supposedly, Sessions gave Trump no heads up whatsoever about this recusal.
Supposedly, Mueller was brought in to interview with Trump personally for FBI Director. Supposedly.
Supposedly, Rosenstein then appointed Mueller to be the SC less than 24 hours after he was interviewed by Trump without telling Trump he was going to do that.
Supposedly.
Except I never bought into any of that for a minute.
I knew Sessions had to recuse because he was 1 of the Trump transition team members that was targeted/spied on/investigated by the SpyGate plotters.
If I knew that how in the WORLD would TRUMP not know that?
You’re supposed to believe Trump brought in a guy to interview for the FBI Director job without knowing he wasn’t eligible for it unless Congress passed a special resolution, and then 24 hours later that same guy gets appointed Special Counsel.
And then you’re asked to believe that Rosenstein, Trump’s handpicked DAG who only got there at the top level of the DOJ after April 25, 2017, decided to appoint Mueller as the Special Counsel without telling Trump first.
THEY’RE NOT GONNA TELL YOU WHAT THEY ARE REALLY DOING.
They’re just NOT.
Some people will NEVER accept this, and so we all get to watch themselves twist themselves into knots trying to make all the cover stories ‘fit’.
Can’t be stressed enough: news media pundits & bloggers on BOTH SIDES use the DC leak culture as their ‘eyes’ to ‘see’ what’s happening.
It’s always been that way, and it’s why true justice and real reform is IMPOSSIBLE in Washington because everything leaks.
So while they’ve been HIDING much of what they are REALLY doing, Trump & his team have been putting DISINFORMATION out there to keep all their enemies and their stupid loudmouth leaking friends looking in the wrong directions.
It’s not just fake news being created by the DNC Media through lying leakers trying to drive narratives.
Trump and his own people have been putting plenty of fake leaks out there to keep all these morons chasing their own tails and OUT OF THEIR WAY.
People who are your FRIENDS but will blab instantly about all your plans and your strategies about what you are doing behind the scenes are just as dangerous IF NOT MORE SO than your worst enemies.
They leak thinking they are ‘helping’ you.
So you’ve got to fool your stupid friends too, not just the Swamp and it’s protectors in the DNC Media.
So yeah....
cover stories.
If you remember everything and if you know how things really work it’s not that hard to spot a cover story.
But most people don’t remember everything and most people don’t know how stuff really works, so most cover stories work great.
The best cover story appeals to biases and is believed because the person it’s being fed to *wants* to believe it.
And the people crafting Trump’s cover stories are really good at it.
You know who puts out most of those fake leaks about ‘the White House in total meltdown/chaos’?
Trump and his people do.
And then Trump goes on his Twitter and complains about it.
Ponder that.
OF COURSE the people who put out the cover story act like the cover story IS REAL.
That’s the whole point of a cover story.
It keeps the targets focused on it.
How many times did Trump TWEET about how MAD he was Sessions recused himself?
“That stupid Jeff Sessions! I can’t get the DOJ to do anything I want them to! They don’t listen to me! Those guys are totally beyond my control, and IT’S NOT FAIR AND THEY WON’T STOP THIS WITCH HUNT AND WAAAAAAAAH!”
And now?
The ‘witch hunt’ is over, and Mueller has to reveal he found no Collusion or Obstruction Witches.
His new AG is in position to launch what Sessions put in motion.
He kept Democrats, SpyGate Plotters and DNC media investigative journalists OUT OF SESSIONS AND ROSENSTEIN AND HUBER AND HOROWITZ’S way for more than 2 years by turning the Mueller SC into a big honking distraction.
That ended how he knew it would end.
Wittingly or not, willingly or not, Mueller played the role he was assigned by Trump/Sessions/RR.
He didn’t give the mob what it wanted, and now they are going to savage him.
But events will soon overtake this mob...
