The Uyghurs are a Turkic people. None of them
have to be Mahometan any more than the Hui (Mahometan Han Chinese) do. About two percent of Uyghurs in
Sinkiang are Christian, BTW. (Funny enough, the Hui Mahometans are not being oppressed; wonder why.)
