Barr did not back off on his statement. That is just more misinformation by Yahoo and the media. You can believe nothing you read from the media. You need to see it for yourself and more often than not, what the media says is a lie.

The portion of this article where the author describes Michael Isikoff”s article about Carter Page this way:

“The story, by Yahoo News chief investigative correspondent Michael Isikoff, was later cited in an FBI application for a surveillance warrant against Page. Isikoff’s reporting on Christopher Steele, the former British spy who prepared the controversial dossier about Trump, was also a major part of the so-called FISA application to wiretap Page.”

The author is so misleading with this portion of the story. It has been proven, and is now widely known, that the DOJ used Isikoff’s story fed to him by Steele, to give Steele’s dossier legitimacy, (it’s verified by an independent source, Isikoff. The classic circular verification).
