Since we’re in guessing mode on this, here’s mine:

Going on Assange being allowed to keep hold of that book, and flash the cover as he was taken out of the embassy, I’m guessing it wasn’t so much an arrest as an extraction made to look like an arrest.

The charges for the extradition seem a bit feeble too, to me.

I wont be surprised if we learn that it was all organized and supervised by US white hats for Assange’s protection.
