WHYY Radio had an interesting show this evening: Immigration Influx: Past and Present. Jeff Faux, from the Economic Policy Institute, takes the immigration crisis all the way from initial U.S. investments in Central America 150 years ago (creating a rich elite) to CIA involvement (our beloved cabal) to NAFTA (whose main effect was creating a land-based superhighway for drugs, whose value far outweighs anything else coming from Central America) to the drug lords (who have created an economy based on violence rather than free markets). This 150-year history -- in addition to the Chicago Marxists -- is what Trump is battling as "the border problem".
