Have you ever wondered who the evilest people to ever walk this earth are? Adolf Hitler always seems to be the go-to reference in such conversations. It is a difficult thing to quantify. Do we do it statistically that is, according to who killed the most people or should it be based on their evil influence on history? My list relies on both. Of course, its totally subjective, but those making the Top Ten might surprise you. So, starting in reverse order, I give you a list of people who will make you feel better about yourself:
10. (tie) The Kims: Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il, and Kim Jong-un
This is quite possibly historys worst political dynasty. In addition to starting the Korean War that killed 3 million people and their refusal to officially end that conflict, this grandfather-son-grandson trio has created one of the most repressive regimes in the world. Without the protection of a meaningful constitution and the Rule of Law, citizens are frequently starved, beaten, imprisoned, murdered, indoctrinated, and forced to worship the Supreme Leader. At least North Korea serves as a nice answer for millennials who ask, Dad, what was the Soviet Union like?
9. The Sanhedrin of Jesus Day
Somebody from the Bible should make this list, and while there are a number of fine nominees, I decided it should be the majority of those who were members of the Sanhedrin in Jesus day. Why? Many who reject Jesus as the Son of God do so because they didnt see his miracles or hear his teaching. By contrast, the Sanhedrin saw and heard both. Rather than believing in Jesus when they saw him perform miracles, their hatred for him grew.

Good choices all. But we need a longer list, Pol Pot, the Castros etc all need to be on a list.
For arguments sake try to think of one American or Englishmman that fits the list. I wont say Truman because he saved people by ending war. Maybe Andrew Jackson?> Hitler said he was inspired by the genocide of native americans. Maybe whatever king started the slave trade George 3 or whoever?> Because that guy lead to both revolutionary and american civil war
LBJ?.
I do not agree with the methodology used here. As an example, Karl Marx. His misguided nonsense may have inspired generations of evil criminals who were responsible for well over a hundred of million of deaths, but was he truly evil? We are told that he was an alcoholic malcontent and treated his family and associates badly. He observed people living in poor conditions and espoused a philosophy that he thought would improve their lives.
Marx was dead long before the negative consequences of his work really came to fruition. The criminal element who used his work as an excuse to grab power for themselves may have been able to go with some other nonsense with equal zeal. Mohammed by most accounts seems to have been a much more evil character in life and his followers seem determined to overtake the death toll of Marx’s followers. The primary obstacle for them seems to be that the followers of Mohammed seem to be genetically predisposed to have a lower IQ these days than what they apparently had in previous times.
Recently a 90 year old Swede was fined for “hate speech” for speculating that this apparent decline may have been the result of inbreeding. I am not sure if that is the case or their gene pool originally came from areas where murderous idiots had a higher survival rate than intelligent people.
Making the vilest of sins acceptable and destroying souls for 1400 years. There are 1.5 billion victims of Muhammad's evilness walking on the planet right now. His influence of evil has been widespread and long-lasting so the number of people he has victimized dwarfs the totals of several on this list.
If I understand your meaning, no, youre wrong.
You are aware that Japan really started the whole thing, having already been beating up China before Hitler made a move. Japs were always aggressive.
Selected List of Those Who Used Evil for Good (which will be much understood by readers).
1. Moses slew 3,000 of his followers for debauchery in order to found the nation of Israel
2. Harry Truman dropped two A-bombs on the Japanese cities of Nagasaki and Hiroshima costing 120,000 lives to end the Pacific War, thus saving countless more lives lost on both sides of war
3. Winston Churchill who betrayed his people on April 8, 1941 by not informing them that he knew when the 230 Nazi bombers were going to blitz the City of Coventry during WWII. Over three nights the Nazis killed 451 people and wounded 700. To inform the city would have been to tip the Germans that the British had broken their military codes.
4. Ronald Reagan who invoked plausible deniability but lied that he knew nothing about trading drugs to Iran to release U.S. hostages and selling guns to the Contras in Nicaragua to fight the Communist Sandinistas. The Sandinista government killed 30,000 and made 500,000 homeless. The Iranian Revolution of Rudollah Khomeini killed from 2,000 to 60,000 in taking over the country and took 60 U.S. hostages. The use of the nomadic religion of Islam to cover the actions of organized crime networks who operate as the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Hezbollah, etc. is ongoing.
5. The Roman Emperor Caligula who was portrayed by paid propagandists of the Roman Deep State (Suetonius, Seneca, Philo Josephus) as an incestuous mad man who appointed his horse as consul. But in actuality he feigned craziness, reinstated free speech and elections, made the Plebians prosper, reduced taxes, forbade senatorial ostentatiousness, took action against those aristocrats who absconded with road improvement funds, built two new aqueducts, wanted to move the Roman Senate to Alexandria but took revenge on those who killed his mother and brother and even those who helped him secure the throne. The historian Suetonius says 160,000 animals were sacrificed during Caligulas inauguration. He conquered Mauretania and launched a campaign to take Brittania. Liberal novels and Hollywood movies have depicted Caligula as a monster.
6. Arguably, Lincoln fought the Civil War, costing 50,000 lives, to abolish the slave economy inherited from the Roman Empire to be replaced with greedy capitalism.
7. Niccolo Machiavelli who wrote a book, The Prince, on how to use evil for good and believed that in emergencies rulers must often use evil and violence in wars, to fight corruption and repel waves of Barbarian immigration; but in normal situations advocated that Christian morality should prevail. He organized a citizen army to defend the city-state of Florence instead of hiring mercenaries. Machiavelli wrote a Christian sermon On Penitence.
I don’t see the real number 1, Hillary.
Pikers all when there is Yoko.
How, precisely, is it possible for me to be wrong about my own opinion?
Congratulations!! You just got a charter membership in the Dunning Kruger club. Hint you dont get the membership for being wrong you get it for being wrong and insisting youre right. Look up your neologism in dictionary.com.
I tried to make you more intelligent, but I will desist at this time. You’ve peaked, apparently, probably in your early teens. Good luck to you though!
