As a Christian, I ask myself the same things sometimes. When will it all end? When I find myself with those questions I usually delve into the Bible. The book of Jeremiah can be a challenging read, but I believe the underlying theme of that book is that God asks his people (which includes me) to do something first, to take action first. It’s a theme throughout the book. Well, since I’m not out there shooting bad guys up, I’m not the best researcher, I don’t live in DC, and am not involved in politics, what I do is pray. I pray for peace of mind, for patience, for protection, for discernment. We’d all like things to be resolved microwave quick! Dennis Prager once said, something like this.. “Wouldn’t it be interesting if one day we woke up and all the bad people were gone?” Yes! In the meantime, I truly believe there is a struggle between good and evil going on, which will make those end days truly seem like a walk in the park. I know how it ends though! If you aren’t a believer, then I would like to challenge you to listen to some good preachers.. find some Billy Graham sermons. I like Dr. David Jeremiah. I’m not crazy about the prosperity preachers, but that’s me. But when I get frustrated, impatient, discouraged.. the best medicine, for me, is to read my Bible, then pray. There is absolute truth and POWER in taking on the armor of God!! Plus it makes you feel so much less stressed. I know God is in control and I know that everything happens in HIS time line. Not mine (not yours, sorry). If you are a Christian, then make sure to carve out some time for devotions. I usually do Billy Graham and Dr. Jeremiah. Then I’m a knee pray-er. When I’m in public, I try to do small things... let people go ahead of me, smile, say good morning, or afternoon! How are you? Can I take your cart for you? I realize this sounds simplistic, but don’t take me for a meek little sheep who isn’t aware the wolf lingers lol.. you don’t know what’s in my bag. I was taught well by my father who worked at a prison my growing up years. I hope this helps.
Thank you for your response.
I usually do Billy Graham and Dr. Jeremiah.
