Subject: WH travel pool report #16-Santa Monica
Marine One was wheels down at the Santa Monica Airport at 4:15pm local time after a short flight from LAX. The president emerged five minutes later and immediately got into the beast which was waiting for him at the foot of the helicopter. He gave the pool a quick wave.
The motorcade is now en route to an undisclosed location for a fundraiser.

The motorcade wizzed down California’s Freeway 10 to Freeway 45, with Friday rush hour traffic stretching miles in the opposite direction.
We existed Freeway 45 into the hills, onto Sunset Boulevard toward Bel Air. Then we were in Beverly Hills, which began with a few porcelain golfer statutes decorating one landscape. We finally turned onto a street called Lomitas, where we pulled up to a private residence at 4:40pm local time.
We haven’t received any guidance on where this fundraiser is taking place. Wherever it is, we have arrived.
Throughout the drive there were a handful of supporters, including fairly significant groups waving in Beverly Hills. There were a couple of protesters too. One held a sign that said “only sanders beats trump.”
