Mark John Geragos[1] (born October 5, 1957) is an American-Armenian criminal defense lawyer. Clients whom he has represented have included Michael Jackson, Winona Ryder,[2] Gary Condit, Susan McDougal, Scott Peterson, Scott Barney[3], and Jussie Smollett[4]. Geragos represented suspended NASCAR driver Jeremy Mayfield; Paul and Kulbir Dhaliwal, two brothers injured after a tiger escaped in San Francisco Zoo; and Chris Brown, who pleaded guilty to the assault of his then-girlfriend, Rihanna.
