•California psychiatrist Dr. Thomas Burchard, 71, was found dead on March 7
•His body was found stuffed in the truck of a car abandoned near the Lake Mead National Recreation Area in Las Vegas, a rural and deserted area
•The cause of death was determined to be blunt force injury to the head
•It’s not clear how he ended up in the Las Vegas area
•His death was deemed in homicide but no arrests have been made
•He had worked with Montage Heath in Monterey, California for 40 plus years
•He worked with a behavioral psychiatry program with adult and adolescent patients
