Leave my phone on Do Not Disturb and just check it occasionally.
I have no cable on my tv except thru the Spectrum app. Rarely watch it and mostly stream everything.
I watch 0, yeah 0, news. Have found I just don’t need the aggravation.
I still have FB but really only to stay in touch with the family back east. Check it each morning and just scroll thru the BS. Not in any groups or news or....
Starting a new biz which is rather stressful right now meeting all the regs etc. but once it’s up and running smoothly turning it over to my niece and daughter.
Life is good! And so much better since I’ve cut out all the news crap.
My father would just laugh from behind his privilege.
His first jobs was a breaker in the mines.
His second job was filling and driving coal carts out of the mine with a mule team.
His third job was in the Pacific during the War II with the 8th Army which was extended into 1950 to the War in Korea.
His 100 yard stare was from the mines. WW II saved his life.
