LOL! What a joke.

Firstly, how the hell would they know? Secondly......gee, ya think being sent off to war, or facing the very real threat of starvation not to mention no modern medicine - so you knew any serious injury or illness was likely fatal, or the very real risk of being eaten by wild animals might’ve been a little bit stressful?

Look, I realize saying the younger generation is soft is standard “get off my lawn” fare and is as old as can be but really......damn. They really are incredibly soft. I blame baby boomers and the socialists in teaching for it. It’s truly sickening.

I was in line trying to get gasoline at Costco yesterday. Initially it looked like things were progressing fairly well. But then I noticed that after a couple minutes the young woman who was parked in front of the rear pump was still sitting in her hybrid texting on her phone instead of pumping gas. After the F350 in front of her finished filling his megatank, the pickup in front of me drove around her to the forward pump. She finally put the spigot in her fill hole and then got back in her car and continued texting. As I drove around her I noticed that her pump had clicked off and she hadn’t noticed. So after I got my pump going. I walked back and tapped on her window. This startled her and she rolled her window down. I told her that her pump had clicked off. She told me to f*** off. I wonder if the poor little darling lost sleep over our confrontation that night.

I am taking another look at the theory that average human intellect and capability peaked somewhere between 1850-1950.

This type of distopian future has been examined in science fiction quite often, coincidentally, starting in the latter half of the 20th Century.
