If you want to have a line between the quoted comment and your comment, do this:

******************~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~.............. (etc)

But hit the enter button after their comment, and then after the line of asterisks etc, before your comment, or it will just be run-on like this.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>~~~~~~~~~~~************ when you want it separated.
