I don’t know Al Waleed etc’s position now, that he got arrested by MbS some time ago, much/most or (all?) of his riches confiscated, and rumors are underwent torture, and his papers/etc gone through. I don’t thing he has much power any more. I wonder what he owns of Fox nowadays.

Al-Waleed only owned about 6% of FOX and sold it back in 2017.
He was generally a supporter of Rupert Murdoch in shareholder votes about the Murdoch family’s control of the company.
