It is important to note constantly that Socialism is the antithesis of Indiviual Rights. Whereas the American belief in individual rights dictates that I can own an AR15 for my protection, the socialist claims they are too dangerous for society, and that my rights are trumped by societies needs. Socialism is fundamentally as anti-American as any system can be. The Bill of Rights is the document that defines Americanism and must be used in every debate.
So true! AND, the reason is that under socialism {Marxixm} you are property of the State, and the State can do whatsoever it wants with you for the common good.
