Got the garlic, onions and lavender planted. Also added chives and Italian oragano to the kitchen herb pot by the door. Done for today! Will be sore tomorrow. Lots of bending and stooping! But the good kind of sore!

I know what you mean, I love the muscle soreness that tells me that I have worked my body and it will be stronger. And have done productive work in the process.
How neat to plant lavender! You have to tell me about that. I once thought about planting our entire upper hill in lavender, I thought it would be so beautiful. That would be silly since we would have to plow up the whole thing, but maybe just part of the garden this year. Since I’m only doing the raised beds. That would smell delightful when it rains.
So how do you plant it, from seed? Does it come back every year?
