The biggest school admissions scandal ever prosecuted began with a tip from an executive investigators were targeting in an unrelated securities fraud probe, it was revealed today. The unnamed businessman told Boston authorities chasing down the market manipulation scheme that Rudy Meredith, the womens soccer coach at Yale University, said he would designated the executives daughter as a recruit in exchange for cash, the official said. The official was not authorized to discuss the case and spoke on the condition of anonymity.

I have horrified dinner partners at high society functions by revealing a disdain for "elite" and especially Ivy League schools.
Some of the best and smartest people I have known went to little known colleges and just had the right kind of metal.

Our son was a year ahead of her at Stanford.
He was co-president of the College Republicans, manning their booth, when Chelsea walked by and smiled at him. He was surprised she was actually cuter in person.

Some people dont photograph well and I suspect shes one of them. I dont ever recall hearing that Chelsea was an outstanding student (Obamas daughters, either). Parents always share news like that when their child does exceptionally well. Of course, Im suspicious of everything at this point. .
