I don’t have any problem with the fact that someone who is richer than I am can afford more toys than I can. I’m not interested in class warfare with them. But I do have a problem with someone who is richer who can “buy” things like college admission that ought to be on merit, or who can “buy” more justice than a poor person.


Yes. And even the Ivy League universities benefit from gubermeint $$$ via scholarships/grants for kids and research monies. Fairness! Fairness! Fairness! Not for the 1%!
