I like Hallmark movies. After the first ten minutes you exactly what's going to happen. If the boyfriend is a real estate developer or a lawyer, he's hosed. If the guy is kind of a slouch but living the dream, or if he a prince, he'll get the babe in the end. Well, not the end the end. I think you know what I mean.

My favorite Hallmark Christmas movie is where the girl meets the guy in some weird way. Looks like there’s conflict that can’t be resolved. Lots of Christmas decorations, expensive ones, too.

Usually the woman has some dialogue with a sibling, a parent or a trusted friend.

It all works out and they have a Merry Christmas.
