Interesting turn of events...

Back in 2015, one of Putin's friends/business associates was found dead in a Washington DC hotel.

Mikhail Lesin, 57

The original report was that he died of a Heart Attack (nothing to see here..). That was later revised to "blunt force trauma." It seems he was on a drinking binge and may have fallen one too many times, while alone in his hotel.

Reports from Buzzfeed (yeah, I know..) indicate he may have been scheduled scheduled to meet with the Justice Department. There was speculation, but no proof, that Lesin was killed before he could provide details of a Russian money laundering network and that police and the medical examiner either bungled the case or covered up the murder.

Latest update is that "on Feb. 13, a District of Columbia court ordered Washington’s medical examiner to turn over Lesin’s autopsy report and all related files. The order by Superior Court Judge Hiram Puig-Lugo was in response to a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit brought by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty."

Sauce: Ruling revives questions about DC death of ex-Putin aide

Wonder if he ever "generously" donated to the Clinton Foundation?

It just occurred to me, what happened to the case before the SCOTUS involving a foreign company fighting a subpoena?
