A mob of 200 idiots crashed private property, abusing animals and causing havoc and destruction; and the cops stood by doing nothing. Since they made no arrests this must be what the police consider “a peaceful demonstration.”

I hope the farmer sues the protesters and the local police, if that’s possible in the UK.
She should sue for monetary damages AND for the pain and suffering caused to the animals! Ask for LOTS of money for the pain and suffering, equivalent to what would be asked for if they were human. The protesters can’t argue with that, now can they?

Funny how we never read of carnivores (or even omnivores) storming a vegan vegetable garden and demanding that they actually employ the use of their incisors for what they are intended and enjoy a nice piece of steak or bar-b-q!

Police monitored the protest at the farm to ensure that it remained peaceful.
So trespassing on private property is ok as long as it's peaceful and you don't kill too many piglets........
