It’s very odd that she would come out, right out of the gate, for transgenderism. I’m convinced that she’s a puppet of someone pulling the strings; that fixed smile of hers says, “I’m being an obedient girl.” She is being told, “Appear to be progressive, for now.”
Locally, one of our elderly old line progressives who is proud his parents were Communists is always calling for the young progressives to come out and take part in pro Palestinian marches and rallys. This is one reason I am disturbed by our President’s behavior toward Putin.
Islam is primarily a political ideology, dressed in extremist religious rules. The adherents don’t care about being good as Christians do - i.e. from the heart out of love for God and our neighbour. Their “god” only cares that they all submit to him. As long as they do that they can steal, rape, whatever. I think a bunch of Arabs wanted to plunder and conquer in the 7th century and they used this “revelation” as their pretext for doing it.
There is good reason to doubt that Mecca even existed in 7th century Arabia based on trading maps, and descriptions of the holy city in the Qur’an which don’t match the city of Mecca.
