Well said, especially the “day one” part. And it would have sent a message to the folks in Central America who were just packing their bags. Might as well unpack.

Of course you’d get 100% support from both parties, no push back at all. When the courts ruled against you I’m sure you’d just ignore that and the following impeachment proceedings having no one in Washington on your team and a bunch of fair weather online supporters.
