That brings back a bad memory from an incident after dark in a rural area on the east side of the county several years ago. Lady and a teenage girl were pulling out of a smaller county road onto a larger county road on the downside of a rise in the roadway. Motorcycle man popped over the rise at wide-open throttle right when they were crossways on the road. There was no time for him to brake, steer or anything except collide. The force of it lifted the little car up off the roadway, spun it 180 degrees and landed it in the ditch upright facing the opposite direction. Car was horribly mangled. FD guy who was at the scene told me they thought it was a hit and run at first and were seeing if they could find some clues so they could determine what kind of vehicle they should be looking for when they came to the grisly realization that the "hit and run" vehicle was
still on scene, up inside the car.
Yep..I’m familiar with another incident where two occupants in a Porsche lost control and violently rolled at about 105mph. The male occupant’s torso was ejected out the sunroof, the rest was still in the vehicle.
