Sometimes there’s a delayed effect before you know you’re really effed up. No way that guy got away with just a bruised knee. His big mistake was keeping that pursuit going for so long allow the police to get a lot of assets on the ground and in the air. He could have ditch it into the local Tastee-Freez after a few major street changes and they probably wouldn’t have found them. Not that I’m condoning that behavior.
I used to drive my Triumph Trident way too fast. But nothing stupid like that. I went through a speed trap at 100 on a highway. Took the third exit, before the cop could get up to speed. Stopped for lunch.
