Last link in 3006, I was going to copy and paste but cannot. Letter from Sessions to Huber, dated November 22, 2017. Sessions is asking Huber to look into the matters in the letter below it, from AAG Stephen Boyd to Sen. Goodlatte. Matters listed are U1, the Clinton Foundation, and “other matters”. Then bunches of issues below it, that were in Huber’s letters, seem to be stuff IG Horowitz was looking into, wrongdoing of the FBI. Also the handling of HRC’s emails/server.
People who are smart should read the letters and tell the rest of us the import, ‘kay?

GLEN ALLEN, Va. — Once Abigail Spanberger embraced the secret life of a CIA operative, she never imagined breaking cover.
She handled and recruited spies in Europe, where she specialized in counterterrorism and nuclear proliferation issues. She aspired to an appointment somewhere as chief of station, the Langley equivalent of ambassador. Instead she wound up leaving the agency in 2014 in search of a less nomadic life after having three children.
Then came the Trump presidency and an overheated climate in which partisanship often triumphed over facts. So Spanberger, a proudly apolitical collector of evidence, decided to do something profoundly radical for an ex-spy. She ran for the House of Representatives — and won, upsetting Rep. Dave Brat (R) in Virginia’s 7th District. On Thursday, when the 116th Congress convenes, she will join a small vanguard of ex-intelligence officers becoming Instagram-friendly lawmakers.
“Leaving the CIA was the biggest loss of my life. I mourned the agency. I miss it every day,” said Spanberger, 39, one of three former CIA officers who will serve in the new Congress.

That letter has been discussed and posted before, the turley article sums it up nicely
LJ, what it means (part of it anyway) is that a year and a half ago, Jeff Sessions (yes, Sleepy Sessions) told Huber to investigate U1, clinton foundation, a lot of other stuff. Problem? NO LEAKS!!! NO FREAKIN’ LEAKS!!
So, Sessions really is a white hat. The investigations that we all are yelling should be started HAVE BEEN GOING ON FOR A YEAR AND A HALF.

I was blinded for a few moments that the initial response by Jeff Sessions, in that trove of letters you posted, was written on NOVEMBER 22nd. The date of JFK assassination. Just was.
Next, I was blinded by the language of Jeff Sessions in that initial letter, wherein Sessions “requests” investigation into HRC, Comey style. Not sure about an Attorney General of the United States using the term “I request”.
Where is the term, “I direct....”?
Does the DOJ hear a request and consider it “OPTIONAL”? Therefore, a request can possibly be ignored entirely or so placed on the back burner that no one gets nailed, ever, for anything?
