Is treason punishable by death in the United States?

LII U.S. Code Title 18. CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE Part I. CRIMES Chapter 115. TREASON, SEDITION, AND SUBVERSIVE ACTIVITIES Section 2381. Treason

"Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States. 18 U.S. Code § 2381 - Treason | U.S. Code | US Law | LII / Legal ... https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2381

I assume that when Q uses the phrase, "a traitors justice", this is what he is referring to...

..fined under this title but not less than $10,000

Needs to be adjusted. When they wrote this, gold was $20 an ounce. A shade under $1300 today.

and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~.
I really like this particular phrase of the Treason code with regard to Hillary and any other Deep Stater involved in the coup. Let’s make sure they never are in positions of power again.
