The House is having endless investigations because they know that when (not if) President Trump lets loose with Declass, they are in big trouble so they will use the excuse that because they are SO CLOSE to finding a crime that Trump did it in retaliation to stop the investigations...IMHO

You have hit the nugget in the matter. The 'rats have inexplicably vigorously defended Mueller even when it became apparent that he didn't have the goods. The reason is that the Mueller investigation was designed to prevent Dem exposure in the coup through DECLAS and other sequestered documents by setting up an obstruction of justice blockade.
Now that the 'rats are losing the Mueller cover they are desperate to establish a new blockade to DECLAS and documentary exposure of their treasonous coup activities. A legion of widespread investigations can allow them to scream obstruction of justice whenever POTUS tries to DECLAS the proof of their criminal activities - including Dem collusion with members of the media.
Well known names in the MSM are going to be exposed naked for the bought and sold frauds that they are.
