I saw Queen in concert just after Bohemian Rhapsody was released. Good show. They came on after Eric Carmen and Orleans.

George Gershwin had Rhapsody in Blue booed by the audience in his first performance of it. He sort of took classical into the modern era. Queen’s producers did want Bohemian Rhapsody recorded, much less released, as it took modern music back toward the classics.
