I watched a panel discussion with Wilbur Ross and the Ambassador for Japan regarding trade policies and why balance of trade matters.
Ross gave a great history of why we are in such bad shape regarding trade deficits {basically WWII give- aways, because we were rebuilding the countries we had just defeated}.
You can't have trade policies in 2019 that were set up in 1947.
There was no screaming and it was not a barn burner, but it is worth watching {look it up}.
You are correct. Pence is useless or worse. The cheap labor immigration he cheers turned California from a place that elected Reagan four times, into a permanent playground for the hard left, where the GOP is dead and buried.
