Your regular doctor can ask the lab for the test. Either you have normal ‘T’ or low ‘T’.

Once he says low ‘T’, you don’t need treatments....you develop a 5-piece attack-plan: (1) more exercise/lifting weights, (2) protein-fat-carbs need to go up and the doctor can list diet plans, (3) Lower stress (this might be a big factor for some guys), (4) Get more sun or take vitamin D supplements (but don’t go overboard on either), and (5) examine your sleep habit (if you aren’t getting quality sleep or less than 6 hours a night, you need to do something).

Go and spend 6 to 12 months on the change, and go back for another ‘T’ test, and it likely improves. Don’t get signed up with a quak-doctor who wants to inject some Mexican-holy water into you. Most guys who have a low ‘T’ count....you can look over their health aspects and generally say they are living a marginally healthy life and need a landscape change.

If your testicles fail to produce testosterone, it doesn’t matter how much you exercise, they won’t respond, generally.

There are some cases where HIIT as well as diet has jump started someones HPTA, but it is unlikely in that there is more often than not an underlying problem, i.e. hihh estrogen levels, which combat testosterone production.

Additionally, a males aromatase abilities change as they age, and cascade a whole host of negative effects.

I do agree the first course of action is to evaluate diet and lifestyle, but unfortunately I’ve seen very little progress in that regard with cases.
