philman_36: I hereby ask reprieve from you, ransomnote, for a one week leave to seek and destroy any known troll that enters your threads.

MotherOfDragons: Request denied, good sir.
There isn’t an unwillingness to fight on this thread; hard won experience has proven time and time again it doesn’t work. One thread devolved into hand to hand combat and became completely unreadable - I posted a new thread within 24 hrs.
They are not destroyed by logic or will because they don’t need to “win” any argument - they just need to fill the thread with provoking content and angry replies so that others can’t or won’t keep trying to read about Q.
Trolls often post the same questions over and over, after countless excellent replies, like a child who responds to every adult comment with the question, “Why?” In those instances, adding a good response to their questions to the FAQ table in post #2 of our threads has brought good results; we can point anyone who asks to the post without engaging them.
Personally, I think two of the trolls talking to each other last night on our thread were one troll using two separate accounts (YMMV). Why invest in fakes?
Thank you for being willing to make the sacrifice, but as you did ask, I request that you not contend with them. They lose when we stay focused on The Storm and when we stay together.
Silence and, sometimes, adding answers to their “favorite” questions to the FAQ table have had the best impact.
FreeQ on!
Well said Ransomnote. If someone is disrupting its so much easier to just hit the abuse button, saves time for those who have to read through all the arguing.
FreeQ on!
No, I will not. At least not on your threads.
DO NOT contact me by FR mail...that goes for everybody. If you want to talk it will be in public or not at all. Perhaps I will create a non Q, purely conversational thread of my own. That's always a possibility. I will think about it.
Catch me out in the wilds where I comment infrequently if you care to converse. (though this week I shall be more frequently sighted) I will continue the fight alone.
Good day to you all.
