Rip Esselstyn, former firefighter, and son of well known heart surgeon, Caldwell Esselstyn, wrote a book called Engine 2 Diet. Literally changed my life almost a decade ago. Turned me on to plant-based , whole food eating. Been following it strictly for about 10 years. . Hands-down the best thing Ive ever done for myself. Nothing else even comes close or compares.
Some people can live as vegans, but lots of us cannot. I eat vegan but add meat! Lol. (Keeping kosher means we dont mix dairy and meat). My MD is an integrative practitioner and he says that his vegans get pretty sick eventually.
