Yep, Hooterville was a surreal place...a place were everyone except Mr. Douglas could converse freely with a pig named Arnold.
Married With Children.
She had great chemistry with Opie, too.
Are you a desperate female hunter, Miss Ellie.
If you are, I know where you get yourself a possum.
No thanks, honey. Right now I’m on the trail of a baboon.
are you me? That’s my list too (minus ACGS). Homicide is my favorite series ever...
Frasier ... even funnier than I remember now that I’m older.
Tell ya Wagon Train actually holds up against most of this modern stuff they have on tv today. Love seeing old episodes of The Equalizer when I can find them.
Twenty years on the air. An iconic main cast. A wonderful stream of character actors in guest roles. Some very strong writing and compelling plots. Still a mainstay of classic TV channels, and it’s not on the list. “Gunsmoke”.
How about “The Untouchables”, “The Fugitive,” and the early seasons of “The Waltons”? Johnny Carson’s show has held up well, too.
Didn’t she play the oldest daughter, Betty, on Father Knows Best?
I have always said...and I am unanonymous in this...that Frasier is THE GOLD STANDARD in intellectual comedy, and I know because I was there.
only kidding.
One show that doesn’t hold up is Charlie’s Angels.
I tried to reminisce but it was just so bad. I couldn’t get thru an episode...
but I bet Bionic Woman holds up!!
Yes - staring Peggy Wood.
