“In the U.K., squatters can’t be summarily thrown out. You have to go to court and have them evicted, which can take months or even longer!”

That’s a fact. Then the landlord is forced to hire high court bailiffs to throw the squatters out. The UK treats landlords as second-class citizens. But UK solicitors and the crooked judiciary make money from the charade.

In Amsterdam squatters (I believe the word itself is Dutch), were removed from the typical four and five story 17th century ‘gracht’ house via the window by the average Dutch tough who is often over 6’4”. The forced exit took place via the floor in which the squatters were found about 2AM so no witnesses. Experienced squatters tended to only reside on the first two floors given the method of exit.
