My wife saw Roma and liked it. It does seem to be the least “Hollywood” of the nominees.

Definitely not Hollywood.

GREAT MOVIE, but not for everyone. Like opera, I would say. Some love it; some don't.

For me, Roma had the feeling of great classical music. Huge, impressive, yet quietly intellectual at the same time.

Possibly an acquired taste.

I saw “Cold War” and loved it. Of course I’m a big Polish music fan anyway. But it was really well done. Maybe too “Anti-Communist” for Hollywood’s tastes, though.
