Yes, the timing is suspect. Kamala is trying to get her Federal anti-lynching law passed...and then this happens to her friend. What a coincidence!!
Kamala is trying to get a law passed in order to show she has some substance. And a "Save the Negro" law will endear her to a large chunk of the Democrat party.
