Samsung went to skimping on basic functionality (and you don’t get any more basic than the radio portion of the phone) and focused on cosmetic fluff and bells and whistles I don’t need.
All four of the things I listed, Samsung was known for.
That distinction helped them pry market share from iPple.
Perhaps I should have been more clear. Which present phone meets your requirements, or, which phone are you now using that meets your requirements.
