You're misinterpreting what I'm saying.

I might get the new phones, with the new and unneeded features, simply because they're going to be included in the newer phones. IOW, it's not the features that I'm after. Phones were made to become obsolete and useless after about 2-3 years. I'm being forced to upgrade. If I have to upgraded, I'll end up with new features which I won't need or use. If I can get a phone with the features which I need for $300-500, I'll do so, and if I get 1 terabyte and 5g included for that price, I won't turn it down, but I won't need the overkill.
