I would like to repost something that for some strange reason ransomnote felt was worthy of going in the beginning of each thread.
As a general rule, the more someone goes around blabbing about how 'in the know' they are about classified matters/ operations, the less likely they have ever known anything worth talking about.
Take such statements with an unhealthily large amount of salt.
There is an old joke that NSA stood for Never Say Anything. There is a VERY good reason for this. The work of NSA and the rest of the Intel Community is of vital national interest. Revealing the nature of the work or, in many cases, its very existence does damage to that national interest.

I posted it because I believe it to be uncommon knowledge expressed uncommonly well. It immediately explained why I become strangely apathetic listening to people rattle on about who they know, what they know, and how they know it.
