There is this odd piece to the story....this ‘second’ husband (the suggested brother)...if he were the brother....then his father who was already within the American system...could have brought ‘junior’ into the US as his son. So there was no need for a ‘sister’ to marry the ‘brother’.
My suspicion is that this Elmi guy (the suggested brother) was a false ID situation and not the real brother. If you read through everything...this guy came to the US, attended college for the most part. It wouldn’t surprise me if there is more than one Elmi walking around.
We know that Ilhan Omar married her first husband, father of her children, in an Islamic ceremony. She divorced him, remarried the second guy, sponsored his immigration visa, divorced the second guy, and then remarried her first husband, all through civil actions.
I do not believe that Ilhan Omar, devout Somali Muslim, was out there sowing her wild oats with different men before settling back with her original husband.

I believe the immigration wait is longer for a sibling than a spouse. Financial support might be different, too. But, yeah, this is a really odd case and the media is showing their obvious bias by not investigating it. Bro is probably being paid to live in England and conveniently keep him out of the way lest he dim a budding star of the Democrat Party.
